Scheduled Water Maintenance in Port of Spain - January 15-16
WASA will conduct essential pipeline maintenance affecting several areas in Port of Spain. Water supply will be temporarily interrupted from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM each day. Affected areas include Woodbrook, St. Clair, Newtown, and parts of downtown Port of Spain. Water trucks will be deployed to critical locations including hospitals and schools.

Emergency water trucks deployed to affected areas in Tobago following equipment failure at main treatment plant. Affected communities include Scarborough, Crown Point, Canaan, and Bon Accord. Repair work is underway with specialized technicians from Trinidad providing support.

T&TEC and WASA customers can now pay bills using mobile wallets including Republic Bank's RBL Mobile, First Citizens' FCiB Mobile, and Scotiabank's Scotia OnLine. Cryptocurrency payments are accepted for Bitcoin, Ethereum, and USDC. International customers can use Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. All payments are processed securely with instant confirmation.
Power Grid Upgrade Completed in San Fernando
T&TEC successfully completes major infrastructure upgrade, improving reliability and capacity for 15,000 customers. The project included installation of new transformers, upgraded transmission lines, and smart grid technology. Power outages in the area are expected to decrease by 60%. The upgrade also supports future renewable energy integration and electric vehicle charging infrastructure.

WASA opens new state-of-the-art customer service center to better serve central Trinidad residents. Located at Southern Main Road, the facility features digital service kiosks, extended hours (7 AM - 7 PM Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 4 PM Saturday), dedicated senior citizen service area, and ample parking. Services include bill payments, new connections, service requests, and technical support.
